It is The Tour, and it was the very first book I ever wrote. It may not be my best, and I’ve learned a lot along the way, hopefully I’ve improved but this was the one that took years to write, that was rejected by publishers and agents, that almost saw the beginning and the end of my life as a writer, because I was convinced it was awful and I should have more sense than to think I could be an author.
But eight years on, and twenty books published, several bestsellers among them, The Tour has been downloaded over 300,000 times, has over 2000 4/5* reviews and it has created a following for a lovely unassuming fella called Conor O’Shea, and so, it holds a very special place in my heart.

Due to the virus, my far flung family can’t be here this year, but next year is, as we say here, ‘a roundy one’ so fingers crossed the world gets a vaccine soon and we can all get together with our loved ones again.
