Launch day went with a splash, thanks to you all my lovely readers!
Winning the coveted orange bestseller flag on launch day is one of the nicest things that can happen, and yesterday because of you, my wonderful advance team, and my loyal readers, Kayla’s Trick did just that.
Thank you all who bought, reviewed or read this book in advance for me, your support means so much. As most of you know, this book thing is for me a kind of cottage industry. I don’t have a big publishing house behind me (or even a little one!) or an agent or any of the people traditionally published authors have. Everyone I work with, editors, cover designers, website managers, are all freelance, and so the buck stops with me, making it all the more satisfying when a launch goes well.
When you buy a book of mine, or rent it from the Kindle Lending Library, you are directly supporting me and my family, and so I hope you get the sense of doing some good as well as getting hopefully a quality product. I like to see it as the literary equivalent of buying your vegetables from a country market rather than the big stores!
Kayla’s Trick seems to be really giving people that bit of positivity and escape from all the ‘noise’ of our current world, the volume of dissent and frustration is turned right up where ever in the world you are I can assure you, even here in the Emerald Isle, so I’m happy and proud to be able to offer readers a bit of respite.
So come on over to Ireland, (at least in your imagination) meet Conor again, as well as the collection of celebrities all searching their Irish roots, real or imagined, and join in all the drama
